About the Journal

The Blood borne infections (BBI) (http://www.bbijournal.com/index.php/bbi), is an international official journal of HIV/AIDS, HTLV and Viral Hepatitis Research Center, Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture & Research (ACECR), Mashhad, Iran.
The BBI publishes original research, review articles, short communications and letters that cover different issues of transfusion-transmitted viral infections as well as sexually-transmitted diseases such as epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical outcomes, diagnosis, management, prevention and screening. Focusing areas are including, but not limited to, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis D, HIV/AIDS, HTLV-1 and HTLV-2 infections, HPV infection, HSV genital infection and the related high-risk behaviors.
